CCARA Club Information

The Carter County Amateur Radio Association (CCARA) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization serving Northeast Tennessee with Amateur Radio. Everyone is welcome to join us for our meetings or our weekly on-the-air radio nets.  You do not have to be a licensed Amateur Radio operator to attend our meetings or to become a club member.

The club operates a repeater on 145.290 Mhz. It has a tone of 103.5 Hz, but is not currently turned on. It is linked to the 146.610 repeater in Mountain City, TN and to the 146.925 repeater in Telford, TN.

The club also will conduct amateur radio test sessions after each meeting if anyone wants to test for an amateur radio license or to upgrade their existing license. The current testing fee is $14.00 payable in cash.

Dues for 2008 are now due.  The club dues are $15.00 per member, $23.00 per family.  Please contact the club Treasurer for payment.
